The availability of nutrients is higher in soaked raisins. It delivers boron for the bones and is rich in iron, calcium, vitamin B, instant energy and potassium. It also works as a mild laxative and prevents constipation.
Just like soaking raisins, soaking almonds makes them more digestible and reduces the anti-nutrients like tannis. Tannis can interfere with the absorption of nutrients in the body. Soaked walnuts on the other hand produce less heat in the body, making them fit to consume during summer too. It makes them easier to digest.
Having soaked almonds aids in weight loss, boosts brain function, lowers cholesterol and is good for the skin.
Soaked almonds are good for diabetics, prevent cancer, help fight stress, promote better sleep, give you long hair and support teeth health.
How much should one consume?
One can consume 5-7 raisins, 2-3 walnuts, 7-10 almonds every day for good health.
