CHARACTERS THAT WERE RELATABLE
Hum Aapke Hain Koun, which is considered to be a wedding video masquerading as cinema, features actors that we connected with. The audience saw themselves and their family members on the screen in the characters. Reema Lagoo’s Madhukala Choudhury personified 90s mother on the silver screen. She is educated and opinionated, but at the same time, believes that an ideal woman should also be polite. Anupam Kher’s Professor Siddharth Choudhury is just like any other understanding and fun-loving dad of the time. He is a strict father when it comes to the values of the family, but also doesn’t shy away from trying his hands at cooking in the kitchen or matching his dance steps with his daughters.
