Randhir Kapoor who has shifted into a new home says he was feeling alone in his Chembur house
Randhir Kapoor recently shifted into his new home and even had a pooja done for it. The veteran actor who stayed in Chembur has now shifted to Bandra. Both his daughters, Karima Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, stay in Bandra.
The veteran actor talked to E Times about his new house and also how he was feeling alone in Chembur, especially after the passing away of his brother Rajiv Kapoor. In the interview he said that he was feeling a bit lonely. Talking about his new house he says, “Here, my family can drop in frequently like they did a few hours back; there was a puja today. They will continue to do so in the future. Even my friends are close by in Khar and Bandra.” He even mentions it is a 3000 sq feet house and is quite cosy.
Talking about his Chembur house, Randhir Kapoor lovingly said that it will always remain special to his heart. He said, “Well, some memories made there are unforgettable. I spent 50 years of my life there.” When asked if he had sold the Chembur house, he said – “No, hamari haalat itni bhi buri nahi hain (we are not in such dire straits). It stays as it was. It was just that it was a very big house and I was all alone.”
The Kapoors are one big family. With Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt too planning to move to Bandra, looks like the Kapoors will have regular get-togethers from now on.
