No Time To Die Image: Bond Meets The New 007
A new still image from No Time to Die shows James Bond meeting Lashana Lynch’s Nomi, a character who could become the new 007.
James Bond meets the person who could be the new 007 in the latest image from No Time to Die. Scheduled to hit theaters in April, the film marks Daniel Craig’s fifth and final appearance as the iconic spy, a role he’s portrayed since Casino Royale in 2006. So while fans are undoubtedly interested to see if No Time to Die gives the actor the fitting sendoff he deserves after all these years, they’re also curious to see who eventually succeeds Craig as the franchise lead. There’s always no shortage of viewer picks, but if reports are to believed, the next 007 is introduced in No Time to Die.
In the upcoming movie, Lashana Lynch plays Nomi, one of MI6’s younger agents who teams up with the aging Bond on his latest mission. Dating back to last summer, word’s been Nomi is going to take over for Bond as the new 007 by the film’s end, but that’s a plot point Lynch herself won’t confirm. One thing audiences do know for sure is that Bond and Nomi have a rather playful dynamic with each other, as it looks like James has met his match in the field. The duo’s impending partnership is highlighted in a fresh still image from the film.
