Currently, the world is going through a catastrophic pandemic and the best you can do is stay put. Don’t move, don’t travel, don’t indulge in anything. Except for activities that you can do at home. And, a large part of work from home also means bingeing on a lot of your favourite content. In times like these, we would suggest you watch some feel good movies on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, just to lift up your mood. After all, we’re all in this together. So here’s our list of movies so help you not worry about coronavirus:

1. BEFORE SUNRISE – NETFLIX

An absolutely beautiful film. One that will disconnect you from all the atrocities and gobble you up in its pure brilliance. If you haven’t watched it yet, NOW IS THE TIME. No, seriously. This is one movie you must watch and not just because we’re in the quarantine period. The story revolves around the romance between two people who meet on a train and get lost in conversation.

2. AS GOOD AS IT GETS – NETFLIX

The sheer brilliance of the dialogues between the couple in this film will send you in an instant uplift. Melvin, played by Jack Nicholson is the lead in this one. His character of a bigoted, compulsive writer is supported by a waitress, a gay friend and a dog (this should be enough to lift you up).

3. ENGLISH VINGLISH – NETFLIX

Sridevi plays the role of an elderly Indian woman who finds herself in the United States of America with minimal command over her English. However, she joins an English language learning program and excels in it too. Her climb to the top and everything else is set to put you in a good mood.

5. DIL CHAHTA HAI – NETFLIX

An absolute classic. Only someone who has watched this film could qualify as a movie aficionado. Released back in 2001, directed by the Farhan Akhtar, it takes you through the importance of life, while also telling you to live every moment as it comes. It was a huge hit when it first released and is still one of the best movies Bollywood has produced.
